ASPHALT SEALCOATING
Asphalt sealing is an essential part of maintaining your pavement. It provides a protective coating that acts as a barrier between the asphalt surface and the elements. We recommend following a regular maintenance schedule and having the asphalt sealed every 24-30 months (dependent on weather, wear & tear, use). By doing this you can double the expected service life of the asphalt.

A good quality sealcoat that is professionally applied will help protect your asphalt, replenish the lost binders and add to the value of your property. Asphalt sealcoating should be part of your regular maintenance plan.
Having the proper equipment is essential to be efficient and productive. We apply the ProTec PM sealer using our SMTR-575. This machine provides hydraulically controlled, full sweep agitation and keeps the sand suspended with the sealer. In addition, our Duel-Diaphragm Pro air pump is capable of moving this heavy material (sand+sealer) and applies the correct mixture to the asphalt. The result is a consistent, even coating across the pavement surface.
ASPHALT SEALCOATING
ProTec uses a premium, contractor grade Polymer Modified asphalt sealer that contains a very high solids content. It performs exceptionally well across all climate conditions. We further enhance the durability and skid resistance properties of the sealer by blending select additives. Although this costs more, we believe in providing the very best to our customers. The polymers are injected during the manufacturing process and allow the sealer to remain flexible as the asphalt experiences thermal movement. Our sealer meets or exceeds the ASTM D8099/D8099M-17 standard specifications for asphalt emulsion pavement sealers. It is not diluted and offers the following benefits:
